The City of the living God, which is a reference to Jerusalem, was the place on earth where the Lord chose to place His name. In the Old Testament it was the physical city of Jerusalem. In the New Testament, it is the spiritual city, the new Jerusalem – the church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
